BEER REVIEWS: Endeavour 2012 Reserve Pale Ale

Whilst looking for a diamond in the rough we came across this beer, it was noted that the label is quite plain, however on closer examination it is enriched with information.
When poured this is a cloudy gold coloured beer with a moderate white head and an aromatic classic pale ale aroma. On tasting this beer is similar to the 'German Classic Pilsner' brewed at Brew By U (BBU). 'Pilsner, Munich & Crystal malted barley with a touch of wheat malt' makes this beer an enjoyable, fresh, easy drinking beer. The beer has a well balanced taste combined with fresh hop characteristics and refreshing bitterness. This is with out a doubt a fine beverage deserving of high recognition. Like the Endeavour, founder of Australia, we have discovered an impressive beer.

It is important to look close at the beers you are buying. Many beers that you think are imported may be brewed under license and these beers are nowhere near as good as there imported brothers, so always look for the 'Imported' logo. When shopping it's well worth the small amount extra you'll pay.

You may of heard someone say 'why pour a beer? Its already in a glass' well those people need to understand is that to get full flavour out of your beer, aroma is key and the only way to truly appreciate the aroma is to pour it. So everyone pour it if you can and tell any wanker that says that to 'fuck off'.

If you've had look at this blog and are thinking... gee it would be nice to try some of these beers that i've seen here but i really can't afford it, well we think you need to get your priorities in order, however here's a top tip from Maca and myself. We brew our everyday drink at a local Brew By You, a chain of microbreweries that allow you to use their equipment and their recipes to brew excellent quality beer for only half the regular price. So the money we save we put into buying new untried beers. This is a great option for someone who wants to make there wallet a bit heavier, get involved in the brewing process or reduce your intake of preservatives This is good for your health but it also reduces the effects of a hangover.
