This beer already lacks the commitment of the Stoke Bomber but according to the bottle is "Gold Medal Winning" When poured this is a clear amber orange (bronze) beer with a white head that dissipates to a cap. A superb sweet toffee aroma rushes to greet you. The beer is smooth on the palate and a little watery. The malt shines through but just! According to Gage Roads Brewery this is London's best but we think the Europeans will quickly disagree. Sorry but the "die hard British beer connoisseur" will NOT be packing their bags to come Down Under and try it and if thy do visit Australia they should avoid it like The Plague of England. A disappointing beer that is NOT London's Best!

It is important to look close at the beers you are buying. Many beers that you think are imported may be brewed under license and these beers are nowhere near as good as there imported brothers, so always look for the 'Imported' logo. When shopping it's well worth the small amount extra you'll pay.

You may of heard someone say 'why pour a beer? Its already in a glass' well those people need to understand is that to get full flavour out of your beer, aroma is key and the only way to truly appreciate the aroma is to pour it. So everyone pour it if you can and tell any wanker that says that to 'fuck off'.

If you've had look at this blog and are thinking... gee it would be nice to try some of these beers that i've seen here but i really can't afford it, well we think you need to get your priorities in order, however here's a top tip from Maca and myself. We brew our everyday drink at a local Brew By You, a chain of microbreweries that allow you to use their equipment and their recipes to brew excellent quality beer for only half the regular price. So the money we save we put into buying new untried beers. This is a great option for someone who wants to make there wallet a bit heavier, get involved in the brewing process or reduce your intake of preservatives This is good for your health but it also reduces the effects of a hangover.
