When poured this is a brown coloured beer with a frothy beige head, accompanied with a pleasant malt aroma that hints at something extra-ordinary. On tasting there is an immediate intense rich burst of roasted flavours on the palate accompanied with a long lasting aftertaste of the roasted flavours that isn't enjoyable. This is a sweet tasting beer with a thinness and sharpness that isn't appealing. A Barons shits on this Tony! Overall, this is not an entirely enjoyable beer but if you are one that enjoys coffee roasted flavours, maybe this is for you.
Verdict - OK
