For myself and Maca this beer (also referred to as wife beater) has become an old faithful and has always been a reliably good beer. This beer has a great appearance with great clarity and good carbonation evident. The beer is a clear gold colour beer with a white head associated with good head retention that creates consistent lacing down the glass. There is little aroma to this beer but some hops are evident. An easy drinking medium bodied beer with a crisp taste slightly more hoppy than other lagers in this imported range, finishing with a medium length aftertaste. As Callum mentions " The hops rush to greet you then the malt becomes the star of this fine beer." Always enjoyable and a great session beer. Look out for the imported product though and avoid those brewed under licence.
Verdict - Excellent
